Tourist Guide Newton Stewart
Newton Stewart is a burgh town situated in the south side of Scotland to Dumfries and Galloway west in the Wigtownshire county. This town is known as the “Gateway to the Galloway Hills”. It hosts a local market to support the farming industry, and this market is definately worthy of a visit!
One can opt to visit and hike the Galloway Forest Park on many of the nature trails provided. Other than that, the local museum at St. John’s Church is also amazing are the nearby doll’s house exhibition, a butterfly and a tropical plant house.
