Tourist Guide Oban
In Scotland, the Argyll and Bute council area has a resort town called as Oban. It has a small size, however it is the largest town between Fort William and Helensburgh.
As per the 2001 census, the population of this town was 8,120. However, during the tourist season, the population soars to 25,000.
The highlight of the culture of this town is the Royal National Mod which is a Gaelic festival. In 1992, it was the host of the centenary Mod and in 2003 it hosted the 100th Mod. This town is regarded as the home of the Royal National Mod.
