The Broch of Gurness was a fortified Iron Age settlement in Scotland and was built in 200 BC. Later on, it was occupied by the Picts and the Vikings. This historic walking area shows the visitors the tower which served as a dwelling during the first half of the first century BC. There are also some remains of Norse longhouses in the nearby areas. This is a complete archeological site and one can enjoy his visit to this amazing collection of displays.
