In the west central lowlands of Scotland there exists a town called as Paisley. It is bounded by Glasgow towards the east, Elderslie towards the west, Barrhead towards the south and Renfrew towards the west. The Glasgow City center is 11.1 Kms towards the east of Paisley. This town forms a continuous urban region with Greater Glasgow.
The population of Paisley was estimated to be 72,970 in 2004.
