The Stirling Castle is the largest historical castle in Scotland situated on top of the Castle Hill in Stirling. It is surrounded by steep cliffs on all three sides and the River Froth flows downstream. The castle has a number of structures namely the Outer Defenses, the Forework, the Outer Close, the Royal Palace, the Great Hall, the Chapel Royal, the Nether Bailey and the Gardens.
