This llywernog silver lead mine is one of the most important heritage sites which resembles the poldark mine in Cornwall. During the 18th century, tin mining used to take place over here. Also, there used to be ‘alluvial tin production’ during prehistoric times. Currently there are various activities which take place in the mine. Besides, there are heritage tours arranged for visitors on the regular basis.
