Barry: Attractions and more...
This park had been famous due to the presence of Scenic Railway till mid nineteenth century. However, it got partly destroyed in the year 1973 in a turbulent gale; prior to being dismantled. Majority of beams of scenic railway’s were utilized in construction of Log flume ride which exists at present. It remains amongst the most reputable attractions of Barry.
The Pleasure Park comprises of around 30 attractions and rides; inclusive of Viper Rollercoaster, Log Flume, Dodgems, Sea rate Pirate Ship, and several others. ‘Park Ticket Boxes’ have been made available; which would let tourists go for ‘ride tickets’.
Loads of amusement arcades have been located inside Pleasure Park; as well as on surrounding streets.
Timings
Barry Island Pleasure Park gets opened from ‘Easter’ onwards. It remains closed from 2nd weekend of the month of September.
