The Caernarfon Castle is an enchanting medieval castle in Caernarfon, Wales.



Set apart by its pure size and grandeur, the Caernarfon Castle was built in 1283 by King Edward I. However, the construction was never fully completed. It also hosted the investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales in 1969.

The castle comprises of unique polygonal towers, battlements and impressive masonry. Home to the regimental museum of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, hotels and markets for the visitors.

Visitors are also treated to informative exhibitions, displays, guided walks and the twin-towered gatehouse of the castle. The towers it contains are a sight to remember with intricate decorations with stained glass. The Eagle Tower and the Queens Tower are the most popular constructions in the castle.
