Millennium Stadium is situated in Cardiff, Wales, and is the national stadium where several international football and rugby matches are held.
The stadium opened in the year 1999 to host the Rugby World Cup and has a huge capacity of seventy four thousand five hundred people. Additional seating can be arranged for special events and the stadium has a retractable roof which is the second largest in the world.
It has a natural grass turf and a built-in drainage and irrigation system. There are twenty two bars, one hundred and twenty five hospitality boxes, twelve escalators, seven restaurants, seventeen first aid points, seven lifts and other facilities.
The stadium is also used for hosting exhibitions, music concerts and other important events when there are no matches.
