The Cardigan Castle serves as a heritage site for this city. It also has a place of historical importance because it was the first building that was erected here. It symbolizes strength as it occasionally hosts the National Eisteddfod of Wales. The castle is built strictly according to traditional architecture and is a good tourist spot because even though it is broken and derelict it does not compromise on its visual beauty.
