Tourist Guide Lampeter
Lampeter is a town located in the Ceredigion region in the south western part of Wales. It shares its boundaries with the much developed and larger towns of Carmarthen and Aberystwyth and is well linked to them by road and rail. The town is also close to the two important rivers namely, the Teifi and the Afon Dulas. This provides a good advantage to the town from the resource point of view. The population of this town is around 1,989 inhabitants out of which most of them are Welsh speaking. This place is famous on the world map because it holds the famous University of Wales in its premises. The University adds 1000 people more to the population every year thus adding a different taste to the Welsh culture. The presence of the University brings about a developed and cosmopolitan sense of atmosphere to the town. This town is paired with Saint-Germain-sur-Moine in the country of France. Although being modern enough, it still serves as an important part of rural Ceredigion.
