This castle was built in the same century in which this town was set up and is a great monument of historical importance. This castle once stood as a magnificent structure but was badly broken during wars. At present this castle forms a wing of the University of Wales campus. It is now known as the C.R Cockerell’s college and is a delightful place to watch because it still preserves the old architecture.
