The Llandarcy oil and petroleum refinery is located in close proximity from the village of Llandarcy in the south western region of Wales. The refinery is considered to be the first of its kind to be established in the whole of UK. It is the highest employment provider currently in the entire South Wales region. This has resulted in tremendous improvement in the economy of the village and in turn of the country adding to its importance making it a must watch place for the tourist coming to Llandarcy.
