Tourist Guide Llandudno
A sea side resort Llandudno is located in the Conwy in Wales. The town is looted off the North Wales Coast railway line which was laid in 1848 and was included in London and North Western Railway in 1859. The place is a typical a mid-Victorian era holiday home. The city served as a junction and was served a railway line which was opened in 1858.
Since 1864 the town is also called “Queen of Welsh Resort”. It is nestled between Welsh mainland and the Great Orme peninsula on a flat land. It was earlier part of Aberconwy and before 1974 came under Caernarfonshire. The population of the place which includes Penrhyn Bay and Penrhynside in 2001 was 20,090.
The name of the place has been derived from ancient parish of Saint Tudno. Several neighbouring twons like Craig-y-Don, Llanrhos, and Penrhyn Bay are also part of the city. The climate of the city is very mild which makes it a hot tourist destination.
