The Llyangollem Bridge was the first bridge which was built out of stone the River Dee. It was constructed in the year 1345 by the Bishop of St. Asaph John Trevor one; this was during the reign of Elizabeth. The bridge was reconstructed during the period of Queen Elizabeth keeping the formation of it the same. It has its historic importance in Llangollen Bridge. The bridge is an quite a significant structure as per the practical usage of the bridge is concerned.
