The Skomer Island is situated in Jack Sound and covers a total area of 1.13 sq miles. The island is known for its prehistoric houses, its stone circle, standing stone and the abundant wildlife. The island is surrounded by a variety of marine nature reserve which is run by the Wildlife Trust of Wales. The island has a vast seabird population and the island also has Grey seals, glow worms and wildlife flowers.
