Carew Castle

The famed Carew family have got their name from this place, and are also the owners of the  castle, even though it is being rented  out  to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, who actually  manage the site. It is being built almost entirely from the local Carboniferous limestone, apart from for some of the Tudor architectural features like the window frames, which are made from imported Cotswold stone. The site has been recognized as advantageous from the initial times, as latest hole made by digging in the outer ward have exposed several shifty fortifications of an Iron Age fort.

Oakwood Theme Park

It attracts around 400,000 tourists  every year. The park was started in the late 1980s; it was a very little family park, which included a 3D-style cinema experience show, go-karts, with BMXs, a water shaft ride and a wooden fort. The park has now integrated 5 large thrill rides:  first came Megafobia in 1996, followed by Vertigo in 1997, two years later The Bounce in 1999, Hydro in 2002 and Speed in 2006.

Caldey Island

The island is abode to a petite village, but is famous for its monastery. The Caldey Sound separates the island from the mainland. A ferryboat from Tenby crosses the sound during, the spring and summer. In the 19th century, limestone was quarried here, and was taken to the local lime kilns. The chief income for the residents of the island is through tourism, and the production of perfumes and chocolates serves as their inter incomes. The island also grants  a religious retreat all through the year.
