The forest park is located in the Afan valley and that is why it is named as Afan Forests Park. It is one of the most beautiful and narrow valleys in the whole of South Wales. The area is large and has great condition for recreation with a lot of footpaths and cycle trails. The forest has a visitor center and also there is a mountain bike center which is newly started.
