The village of Porth has been in existence since ancient times. Several monuments and structures belonging to different historical ages support this fact.

Castle an Dinas hill fort dates back to the Iron Age. It is located at a height of 850 ft above sea level. It is an important historical structure, which reveals ancient secrets of that area.

Porth is famous for yet another ancient structure belonging to the Iron and Bronze Age. This is a standing row of Nine Maidens Stones. Experts believe that the stones were used for rituals in the past.

The St. Columb church is a famous parish church in the village. The church appears like a 15th century tower, which is 80 ft high. There are four stages in this historical church, which are accompanied with pinnacles and battlements.

Apart from the historical sites, the village is dotted with a number of parks like Crealy Park, Springfields Fun Park and Screech Owl sanctuary.
