The Swansea University was established in 1920 and was previously called as the University of Wales. It is the 3rd largest university in Wales with a population of 15,070 students and 2,500 staff. The university is located on the grounds of the Singleton Park next to the coast of Swansea Bay. The university has 10 academic departments including, business and economics, arts, engineering, health science, human science, humanities, physical science, medicine, law and environment.
