Located in the heart of San Antonio de Belen, just minutes from Juan Santamaria Airport, La Lora is a new family run hostel designed to appeal to the young and young at heart. La Lora is within walking distance of banks, restaurants, markets, internet cafes, taxis and the bus station. La Lora has the following accommodations: three bedrooms with one double bed each, one bedroom with one bunk bed and one twin bed, and one bedroom with two bunk beds. The only thing you have to do is ask the taxi driver to take you to Belen, and then when you get there, the driver will know what to do. Belen is a little town close to the airport. This town is a place full of friendly people, tons of places to go, and with a great location. One of the most popular places in Belen is Ojo de Agua (”The Eye of Water”), a natural spring where 350 liters of water rush out of the ”pupil” every second. This resort has swimming pools, sauna, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, soccer fields, a lake with boats for rent, and a restaurant. The admission to Ojo de Agua is only $1.25 or so. One of the best advantages of this town is its location. Belen is in the middle of the central valley; therefore, it very easy to get to any place in Costa Rica from there. Also, transportation is great. There you can find rental cars, busses, and taxis around the corner.
