Chobhar Resort offers a limited number of newly renovated rooms, which are single, double and apartment. Located inside a typical 200 year old Newari stonehouse, every effort has been made to preserve the original features, reflecting the local culture and tradition of this ancient village, whose origins go back to the 15th Century.
The Cafe - Restuarant is open everyday from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. except Wednesdays. It has two terraces and we can accommodate groups. We serve mainly nepali specialty dishes, but also some continental dishes.

If you are arriving by air, and you would like us to specially arrange for your transportation directly from Kathmandu Airport to Chobhar Village (15 kms) please specify this above in the section Special requirements Be sure to provide us with Airline/flight number, time of arrival, number of persons in party, etc.
When we confirm, we will advise cost of transportation, which shall be an extra charge payable directly to the chauffeur or driver.
When you check out of Chobhar Resort, several taxis operate locally and may be contacted by mobile phone in a matter of minutes, and ready to collect you.
Currently the standard taxi charge from Chobhar to the center of Kathmandu should not exceed US$ 6.00
