Duomo apartment offers in an original and creative manner, a special stay in the historical centre of the city of Pistoia, city full of art and just a few kilometres away from the Tuscan cultural centres of Florence, Pisa, and Lucca, close in location to the Tyrrhenian coast.

We’ve recently completed a through and careful restoration of the building, returning the mansion to all its former glory.
This elegant apartment lies inside a prestigious 12th century "Palazzo" and is a splendid example of a rich and innovative restoration with elegant architecture and style. It is on the second floor (with elevator) of this historic building and the apartment overlooks a beautiful square. The large square is near the central commercial streets full of old fashioned stores and there are plenty of restaurants, cafès and wine bars nearby.
The apartment has high ceilings and several large windows which give the apartment a light and airy feeling there is also, parquet flooring, central heating , air conditioning and is very tastefully furnished.
Comfortable, light, airy, scrupulously clean, the apartment is fully equipped and includes:
a superb kitchen,
a very large living room with dining area for 6 people and seating area for 6 people (one of the 2 sofas is a comfortable sofabed)
one bedroom (kingsize bed),
one studio/library with a single bed,
two bathrooms (one with shower, one with hot-tube)

It is an ideal stay for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or a relaxing break in a typical tuscan town.
All the services are close by restaurants, bars, shops, buses and train station.
The train and bus links from Pistoia make it a fantastic base from which to explore other parts of northern Tuscany. The train-line runs west to the coast with stops at the chic spa town of Montecatini Terme, (10 minutes away), and on to; Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio.
Florence to the east is less than 30 minutes away and many "Pistoiesi"commute there to study at the University or work in the city.
The ski resort of Abetone lies to the north of Pistoia only 45 minutes away.

Set under the Appenine mountains, Pistoia is a tourist mixture of history, art, folk traditions, monuments, nature and gastronomic specialities. Surrounded by beautiful countryside of hills Pistoia has many monuments to visit.
Pistoia is home to buildings and churches from several art periods and the most beautiful of Pisano's pulpits, whose extremely accurate and realistic bas-reliefs anticipated the perfection of the Renaissance statues.
Duomo apartment is located in the historical centre of Pistoia, a few steps away from the Longobard Piazza della Sale, today home of the most colourful fruit and flower markets and the impressive Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral square), where it is possible to admire buildings which symbolize civil and religious power in the city: the 13th century Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Pretorio, the Romanic cathedral with its silver alter dedicated to the patron saint of the city, St. Jacopo, the baptistery and the ancient Palazzo dei Vescovi, today home of the Museo Capitolare and Museo Archeologico.
Few kilometres away you will find the artistic treasures and monuments of Florence, Siena and Pisa. For those that wish to visit the Tuscan countryside, we guarantee love at first sight, and a pleasant stay immersed in nature and culture where there are limitless possibilities to occupy your free time...
Excursions include discovering historical villages, visiting cities rich in art and history, enjoying thermal spas such as Montecatini Terme and Monsumano Terme with their beauty centres and beauty farms. Tuscany is also a region full of lush, green golf courses located only 40 minutes by car from our residence. Three golf courses, each with 18 holes are open all year round.
Nearby these Tuscany vacation rental you will find a number of sporting clubs with tennis courts, a thermal spa and pool, horse riding stables and golf courses.
People interested in nightlife; will not remain disappointed because in the surroundings theatres, discotheques, cinema and night clubs can be found.
There are many wine tours in the sourrounding area, beyond that in Chiantishire, interesting for wine fans and many wine cellars are opened for the tastings. We will be however always to your disposition in order to inform to you on the events of greater relief that will be kept in the period of your stay.
