The famous Cascade Mountain is located near the city of Banff, Canada. It is a popular scramble attraction. It is situated in Banff National Park’s Bow River Valley.
It is considered as one of the most referred mountains for climbing. In winter, the mountain features an ice waterfall route that can be viewed clearly from the TransCanada Highway. The mountain was ascended in 1887 by Steward and Wilson.
It is also termed as the Stoney Chief, pertaining to the name of a smaller nearby mountain known as Stoney Squaw. Cascade is considered as the highest mountain adjoining to the townsite.
