The Vermilion Lakes are a series of lakes which are situated to the west side of Banff in Alberta near the Canadian Rocky Mountains. These three lakes are formed in the Bow River Valley in the Banff National Park which is at the foot of the Mount Norquay. At these lakes, one can enjoy some of the water sports like canoeing, hiking and wildlife watching too. There is also a hot spring which is found at the third lake.
