Calgary will play host to the 2009 World Water Ski Championships Festival which will be held in the month of August. This will be held at the Predator Bay Water Ski Club which is located around 40 kilometers south of Calgary. Some of the interesting events held at this festival is the short board event, the slalom event and the jump event.
