Established in 1929, the Calgary Zoo is situated in Calgary in Alberta. A large portion of the zoo is situated on St. George’s Island in the Bow River. This zoo is the second largest zoo in Canada. Some of the animal exhibitions are held in numerous places like South America and Australia. This zoo is open the whole year except for Christmas Day.
