Cold Lake Museum

Cold Lake Museum goes on to feature exhibits relating to local heritage, ‘Canadian Air Force’, ‘First Nations Culture’, and ‘oil and gas industry’. Those having a sheer interest in military life, or heritage of Canada, or machinery can enjoy over here.

Timings

Cold Lake Museum opens in the first week of May. Hours are: 1000 to 1600; between Wednesday and Sunday.

Cold Lake Air Force Museum

Built in the year 1999, ‘Cold Lake Air Force Museum’ performs the task of commemorating ‘Canadian Military Aviation’; along with role played by it since the year 1918. Officially, this museum features around 2000 artifacts; inclusive of heritage aircraft.  It’s a portion of ‘Cold Lake Museum’ mentioned above.

Cold Lake Provincial Park

This park features both- boreal forest and aspen parkland; thereby having made it a shelter for birds as well as birdwatchers. Open for whole of the year, one can carry on with mountain biking, canoeing, boating, etc.
