Edmonton International Airport is the most important aviation hub of Alberta City.
It offers air cargo and primary air passenger facilities. In recent years, the airport its seeing the fastest rate of growth in air traffic. Due to this tremendous growth, Edmonton International Airport has become the fifth busiest airport in Canada.
The central business district of Edmonton is situated about 22 miles from this airport. This airport has two terminals, North and South. Different airlines like Air Transat, Skyservice and Sunwing Airlines, Air Canada, Air North and Alaska Airlines use these two terminals for landing.
Numerous cargo and private charters are served by Edmonton International Airport.
Tourists can hire a taxi or a local transportation bus to arrive to the airport. A number of private companies offer taxi shuttles to and from the airport.
Travellers can stay at the enormous number of hotels and lodges present around the airport.
