It’s got plenty of large department stores, but the boutiques in Edmonton, Alberta City Centre are what make it one of the city’s premiere shopping spots. Located along the North Saskatchewan River amongst the big buildings and bright lights of downtown Edmonton, the City Centre is home to well over 150 shops, restaurants and services.
The shopping centre is anchored by department stores The Bay and Winners, sporting goods retailer Sport Check and Empire Theatres, which shows the Hollywood’s hottest new releases in some of the area’s most comfortable auditoriums. Some of the mall’s top smaller boutiques and shops include clothiers like Costa Blanca, Fairweather and Ricki’s, jewelry retailers such as Boulevard Diamonds, Roberge Fine Jewellery and Silversmith and gift shops like The Artworks, Bears & Wishes and Bunches.
Edmonton City Centre is connected to the TD Tower, one of the city’s 10 tallest buildings. Hours vary, but the mall is generally open from 10 a.m. until at least 6 p.m.
