After undergoing an intensive redevelopment phase from 2007 until 2009, Kingsway Mall in Edmonton, Alberta is back and better than ever. The shopping centre, formerly known as Kingsway Garden Mall, is centrally-located within the city and is one of its most popular retail hubs.
Kingsway is anchored by department stores Sears and The Bay, sporting goods retailer Sport Chek and discount megastore Zellers. In addition to those outlets, the mall boasts more than 200 stores, restaurants, stands and services over two floors and 90,000 square metres (960,000 square feet) of retail space. Some of its busiest spots include American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Footlocker, Gamestop, H&M and Victoria’s Secret.
The mall offers almost 4,000 on-site parking stalls in two levels on its east side. It’s served by three major roads — 109 Street, Princess Elizabeth Avenue and Kingsway, so getting there should be no problem at all.
