Ice hockey is the favorite sport of Lloydminster. This city has around 60 restaurants well known for its delicious dinning, fast food and take out. There are always some exciting celebrations or functions going on in this place. Tourist can participate in several local functions which take place in the region. The hospitality and open heartiness of the locals and the restaurant people attracts each and every tourist to this place. The Vic Juba Community Theatre is the ground of sports and community gatherings for concerts. Lloydminster, the only border city of Canada is home to the largest border markers of the world. For signifying the provincial edges and 4th meridian that marks the border, these four, 100ft. high giant survey markers were set up. All shaped survey stakes were brought in use during the survey of the border between Alberta & Saskatchewan.
