There is the Horizon stage which is a center for performing arts and one can visit the Tri-Municipal Leisure Center which is a popular recreation facility. There are a lot of citizens from Edmonton who travel to simply shop in this center. There are also a number of businesses on the west side of the city that citizens often utilize.

One can visit the TransAlta Tri Leisure Center which got opened in 2002 and which provides a pool, a gymnasium, soccer fields and workout gym too. There is also the city bike trial which wind up throughout the city and which is called as the Heritage Grove Trial. In this trial the bike riders can ride for hours through the lush forest.

There is also the music and arts which are one type of entertainment for the general public. For instance, there is the Horizon Stage which hosts many plays and acts throughout the year along with the community theatre. The city has seven theatre complexes which got opened in the fall of 2007.
