The Huble Homestead is a heritage site located at the base of the historic Giscome Portage. Originally a farm and fur trading post, the homestead has been restored to its 1915 condition and is open to the public from May to October for daily guided tours, lunch, and shopping in the General Store. Special events are held on weekends throughout the summer and feature blacksmithing and pioneer demonstrations, games and contests for the whole family, and live entertainment. Admission is by donation.
