Courtenay District Museum and Paleontology Centre  includes very unique and rarely found reptiles and other fossils that were found along the river Puntledge in Courtenay. One can also find a 12 meter long elasmour and fossils of sharks, ammonites that survived in the period of Dinosaurs. There is also one marine reptile that is 80 million year old. This park is one of the best places for kids and adults.
