Apple Bowl can be referred to as one of the multi-purpose stadia situated at Parkinson recreation Area. It’s a home to Cabadian Junior Football League’s Okanagan Sun and Pacific Coast Soccer league’s Okanagan Challenge. Apart from hosting various field events, this stadium contains a running track of 400 meters (rubberized); along with facilities relating to the other field and track events. 5700 people can sit at a time. In the year 2006, it had a novel seating installed within main grandstand.
Prospera Place
Prospera Place, previously called ‘Skyreach Place’; can be described as a ‘6886-seat arena’, that too, multi-purpose. It was constructed in the year 1999. Kelowna Rockets Hockey Club lies over here. The ancient ‘Kelowna Memorial Arena’ has been replaced by Prospera palace; even though ‘Kelowna Memorial Arena’ has still been in to use with regards to smaller sports and venues.
