Vancouver Island is located in British Columbia, Canada. This Island has a city called Parksville. It is situated between French Creek and Englishman River. Almost 7 kilometers to the Northwest of this city lies Qualicum Beach. About 37 kilometers towards the Southeast of this city is Nanaimo. Parksville is on Highway 19A. It is also referred to as the “Jewel of Vancouver Island.” This city was named after the first postmaster of the area, Nelson Park. The society of this place is engaged in crucial industries like service enterprises, forestry and fishing. A large part of the city’s economy is occupied by tourism.
