The flourishing communities of canneries, residences, boatyards and stores have been authentically represented in the Britannia Heritage Shipyard. The shipyard and buildings have been restored by the City of Richmond staff as a waterfront park and wooden boat centre. The buildings located in the area date back to 1885 and consist of maritime displays.
