Salmon Arm: Attractions and more...
This city has a wide variety of restaurants and cultural activities. The public beaches at the Canoe and Sunnybrae are crowded during the time of summer. The Salmon Arm Roots and Blues festival which is held in August attracts lots of tourist. In 2007, it had over 20,000 visitors.
The RJ Haney Heritage Park and Museum is Salmon Arm’s main museum and which celebrates the history of the region. One can also watch hockey played by the Salmon Arms Silverbacks at the Sunwave Center. Salmon Arm offers a lot of recreational amenities for all. Some of the local attractions are the waterfowl sanctuary, rodeo and the Herald Provincial Park.
