Located in the rugged terrain of Coast Mountain the park is Mecca for bird watching activity especially the bald eagle. The park covers an area of 755 hectares and is home to around 3,769 eagles. The main season to visit the place is between mid- December to mid- January. From November to February the runs of chum salmon which are found here attract lots of bald eagle.
