Sure, you can always eat at a traditional sit-down restaurant, but if you’re looking to experience another side of Vancouver, British Columbia’s cuisine, the city features many food carts and stands that offer some of the most delicious food around.

Whether you’re looking for Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, pizza, barbeque, baked goods or locally-grown food, Vancouver’s diverse street food scene has got you covered. Most of Vancouver’s street food option are located downtown, although there are several in the Gastown and Davie Village neighborhoods as well.

In all, Vancouver sports well over a dozen mobile dining establishments, and if recent years are any indication, that number will only grow. While there’s plenty of great food to be had indoors, Vancouver’s street food scene offers those with an adventurous palette a side of the city that not many nearly as many people get to experience.
