Founded in 1964, the Port of Vancouver was the name of the largest port in Canada. It was amalgamated with the Fraser River Port Authority and with the North Fraser Port Authority in 2008 in order to form the Port Metro Vancouver. In an annual basis, this port trades 43 billion dollars of goods with more than 90 trading economies. It is controlled by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
