With the city’s wide array of affordable nightlife options, there’s no need to break the bank while enjoying an evening in Vancouver.
Some of the Rain City’s least-expensive quality meals can be found at Elbow Room Cafe, Terra Breads Bakery and Cafe, Go Fish, Moderne Burger, Sophie’s Cosmic Café, Thai Away Home and the numerous eateries that populate the food court at Granville Island’s public market. These establishments sport plenty of healthy menu items, so you don’t have to sacrifice nutrition just to dine on the cheap.
Most of Vancouver’s cheapest bars and pubs can be found along Granville Street, which runs from the northeast part of town to the southwestern side, and in the Gastown district along Water and Pender Streets.
