Situated atop Little Mountain on the western end of Vancouver, British Columbia, Queen Elizabeth Park is the highest point in the city proper and is perennially one of its most-visited parks. Filled with gorgeous natural gardens, the park also includes a golf course, disc golf course, tennis courts and lawn bowling green.
Known as Vancouver’s Horticultural Jewel, the 53-hectare Queen Elizabeth Park attracts around six million annual visitors, who come to marvel at its beautiful greenery in the summer and its majestic snowy landscape in the winter. The park’s outdoor arboretum sports 1,500 trees (with more than twice that in the park overall) and its indoor Bloedel Floral Conservatory keeps seasonal plants alive and well year-round.
For those who work up an appetite in the park, it’s also home to Seasons in the Park, which combines great food with great views of the surrounding area.
