Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia’s only whale-watching company, Wild Whales Vancouver allows customers to see the Pacific Ocean’s magnificent killer whales in their natural habitat, up-close and personal.
Guaranteeing whale sightings on every one of its trips, which last between three and seven hours, Wild Whales traverses False Creek, English Bay, Fraser Bay and the Strait of Georgia in search of the mammoth marine animals. While killer whales are most prevalent in these waters, gray, humpback and minke whales can also be seen along the boat trip, as can dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea lions and many different bird species.
Armed with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, Wild Whales is owned and operated by former fisherman and whale-watch captain Roger Obayashi. Wild Whales has a fleet of two vessels, which are both able to carry large amounts of passengers and can cover miles upon miles of open sea with ease.
