When travelling to Vancouver, instead of a direct flight to the city, one can save travelling costs by flying to Seattle (near Vancouver) and continuing to Vancouver by quick shuttle or rail and bus.
For leisure travellers, taking a cruise is recommended as one can get fascinating views of the city.
The Pacific area of the island of Vancouver has beautiful beaches and some of the best places to visit are Ucluelet, Bamfield, Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park.
The city is situated in a sub-Mediterranean zone and has mild weather all through the year, which is quite pleasant. Warm clothes are necessary, except in summer time.
Tourists coming from areas other than the US require a valid passport and other important documents to gain entry into the country.
Carrying weapons is strictly prohibited, so please declare any weapons you may be carrying.
