The local public transportation is run by the Victoria Regional Transit System which is also a part of BC Transit. Double Decker buses were introduced in 2000. The rider fare payments can be made in cash, tickets, monthly bus passes or disability yearly passes. There are also passenger rail services which is provided by the VIA Rail Canada. There is also the Victoria International Airport which has nonstop flights to and from Toronto, Seattle and many other places.
