The Butchart Gardens is 55 acres of stunning floral show gardens and also a national historic site of Canada. This beautiful garden is still owned by family descendants. The garden is open throughout the year and looks beautiful in each season. The fragrance, winter blooming shrubs and the abundance of summer color are worth seeing. There is also a heated show greenhouse which is next to the Blue Poppy restaurant.
