Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba

This art gallery goes on to feature varying contemporary exhibits; that too, with special emphasis on artists of Manitoba. It’s amongst the oldest art galleries of Canada; being in to operation sine the year 1907. This monument has been housed in historical building within heart of ‘Downtown Brandon’. Such a facility of 23000 feet has a 4300 sq. feet gallery space (environmentally controlled) along with 6 learning/production studios and community ‘access gallery’. Around 16 exhibitions get held every year with focus on Metic and Aboriginal art works.

Timings

This art gallery remains open from Mondays to Saturdays between 1000 and 1800 hrs.

Brandon Research Center

This center performs research in to plant-foods, fodder and herbicides, genetics of ‘barley’, and feeding and breeding of poultry, pigs, and cattle.

Timings

The timings are: 0800 to 1630 hrs from Mondays to Fridays.
