Dauphin is a city in Manitoba, Canada, which is a chief place for the transportation of grain. Dauphin is located in the Parkland Region, in a valley located between Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Riding Mountain National Park. Farming plays an important role in the economy of Dauphin. A number of summer festivals such as the Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival, Dauphin’s Country fest and Jesus Manifest are held at Dauphin. This place is the centre for the Riding Mountain National Park. Dauphin is blessed with stunning lakes in all directions such as Lake Winnipegosis, Dauphin Lake and Lake Manitoba. This city is also located near Winnipeg (Southeast), Brandon (south), Saskatoon (northeast) and Regina (southeast). Dauphin has a Continental climate with four different seasons. Winters are cold, summers are warm, and autumn and spring are variable seasons. Dauphin is relatively sunny and dry compared to other prairie cities.
